Say what you may, but Kangana has always known how to make a festive entrance. And as we hunt for the best Navratri outfit of 2026, the actor-politician has dropped her pick, a Torani lehenga that costs ₹2,10,500 on the brand’s official website. IYKYK.

On October 17, she shared pictures and a BTS video from her Chhattisgarh festivities. Her caption called Navratri a celebration of femininity, garba the dance of life, and Devi (shakti) the centre of it all. Dholida 2026, ho gaya. In the video, she said it’s a joy to wear our own indigenous craft and heritage.

The silk lehenga is rooted in the Indus Valley heritage of travelling cultures, and it brings colour theory to the maximalist, kitschy language of festive wear, detailed digital print, fine embroidery and heritage motifs in a fluid silhouette.

The maroon, multi-toned fabric has intricate borders and swirling tassel details. The skirt is voluminous and flared, paired with an embroidered choli. The blouse has a lace-up back with crisscross ties and statement tassels, which gives it a bold, bohemian vibe. A matching printed dupatta sits on her shoulder, tassel trim doing the most.

The jewellery was all heavy oxidised silver: layered chunky necklaces, stacked wide arm cuffs and armlets, ornate rings and a circular maang tika. Her hair was a sleek braid with delicate accessories. Makeup was dramatic winged eyeliner, a nude lip and subtle facial art dots near the eyes and chin.

Now, how to steal the look, girlies:

  • Mix heritage prints with rich base shades like maroon, rust and olive.
  • Pick digital prints finished with needlework or mirror accents for that kitschy festive vibe.
  • Add tie-up lace details, tassel strings or open-back cuts to a classic lehenga for a modern edge.
  • Skip standard gold or kundan and go silver. Multi-tiered neckpieces, ear cuffs and arm bracelets give a rustic garba-night touch.
  • Wear your hair in a neat braid or bun with cowrie shells, tassels or fresh flowers.
  • Finish with subtle eyeliner dots around the brows or chin.

It’s a festive look that celebrates Indian heritage. Shagun done, now go play garba.
