Oppo has officially announced that the Reno 14 series, comprising the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro, will be launched in India on July 3, 2025. The brand has started sharing feature teasers that highlight improvements in performance, design, and AI-based enhancements. The Reno 14 Pro is confirmed to come equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset and a powerful 6200mAh battery aimed at offering extended usage.

Design and display details emerge

In terms of aesthetics, the Reno 14 series will sport a familiar look, closely following the design of its predecessor, but with a refined matte-finish rear panel. Both smartphones will carry a triple camera setup and are likely to feature IP68 or IP69 ratings, making them resistant to dust and water.

As for displays, the Reno 14 Pro is expected to feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The standard Reno 14 may come with a slightly smaller 6.59-inch screen with 1080p resolution and the same 120Hz refresh rate.

Advanced camera setup with AI features

Oppo has packed the Reno 14 Pro with an advanced triple camera array. This may include a 50MP main camera using an OmniVision OV50E sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens with a Samsung JN5 sensor that supports 3.5x lossless optical zoom. Oppo teased that the device will also support up to 120x digital zoom.

Performance and battery capabilities

Under the hood, the Reno 14 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset and paired with 12GB of RAM, offering up to 512GB of internal storage. The Reno 14 is expected to use the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor.

Battery performance is also a highlight. The Reno 14 Pro will include a 6200mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The Reno 14 is anticipated to feature a 6000mAh battery, also with 80W fast-charging support.
