Thiruvananthapuram: The Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) has launched a telemedicine follow-up for regular patients. Registered patients can opt for follow-ups with audio and video interface, the institute said in a press release.
To avail of the service, patients should request telemedical consultation in advance, through the website. The consultation request can be done via https://patientportal.sctimst.ac.in/ . The institute said in the release that the slots would be allotted after getting concurrence from the clinic team.
“We start with limited slots for telemedicine consultations per day in each major speciality,” it said.

SCTIMST added that the institute would soon open e-Sanjeevani doctor-to-doctor telemedicine services. “Here doctors from anywhere in the country can discuss their complex cases with SCTIMST consultants through telemedicine,” it said.
