
Kozhikode: Malayali writer Saharu Nusaiba Kannanari has been honored with the prestigious Crossword Award for Indian English writers for his novel, Chronicle of an Hour and a Half.
Chronicle of an Hour and a Half is a gripping tale set in the village of Vaiga, located near the Western Ghats. The novel explores the lives of people who lived during the time of devastation caused by fierce storms, with lightning and torrential rains tearing apart their lives. The book was also shortlisted for the renowned JCB Award for the best novel in India and is published by Westland Books.
