Palakkad: Noted Malayalam writer S Jayesh passed away at the age of 39. He breathed his last following a heart attack on Tuesday morning. Sustaining a head injury, Jayesh had been undertaking treatment for one and a half months at a hospital. 

The injury on head was caused when he fell after being unconscious. He had severe fever then. Soon he was admitted to a hospital and underwenty surgery. 

The funeral rituals will commence on Thursday at 10 am in his native Vilayannur near Thenkurissi in Palakkad. 

His acclaimed works are ‘kla!’, ‘Parajitharude Rathri’, ‘Oridathoru Lineman’, and ‘Chora’.
