SPMCIL has opened online applications for Young Professional (Cyber Security) posts on a fixed-term contract with a monthly pay of Rs 50,000.

New Delhi: Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL), a wholly owned Government of India enterprise, has invited applications for the post of Young Professional, Cyber Security on a fixed-term contract basis.
SPMCIL is engaged in the design and manufacture of security paper, printing of currency notes, passports, non-judicial stamp papers, postage stamps, and minting of coins. Its operational units are strategically located across the country, including four mints at Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Noida; currency and security presses at Nashik, Dewas and Hyderabad; and a high-quality paper manufacturing mill at Narmadapuram.

A total of three Young Professionals (Cyber Security) will be selected. Of these, two positions are for the Data Centre at Noida, while one position is for the Disaster Recovery Centre at Hyderabad.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must possess a first-class, full-time B.E./B.Tech degree from a recognised university or institute in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics and Communication Engineering, with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
In addition, candidates must hold any one of the following certifications: CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional), CISSP, CompTIA CySA+, GSEC, OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), or CISM. Preference will be given to candidates with a postgraduate-level specialisation in Cyber Security.
Experience and Skill Requirements
Applicants should have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in Cyber Security in a reputed organisation.
The required skill set includes strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, principles, and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls. Candidates should have hands-on experience with security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection platforms, SIEM tools such as FortiSIEM, and vulnerability scanners like Nessus and Qualys.
Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies, compliance frameworks, incident handling, and strong analytical and communication skills is also required.
Age Limit and Remuneration
The upper age limit is 35 years as on February 7, 2026. Selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration of Rs 50,000 per month (all-inclusive).
Tenure and Terms of Engagement
The engagement will be full-time for a fixed period of three years. Based on performance, the tenure may be terminated or extended further. Young Professionals will not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of engagement with SPMCIL.

After scrutiny of applications, candidates will be provisionally shortlisted based on merit, considering qualifications and experience. The screening process may involve a written test followed by an interview, or only an interview, depending on the number of applications received.
