The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the Online Application Registration Schedule for Stage 1 Examination of the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) 2026.

The online registration process for NIFTEE 2026 is currently in progress, as per the public notice dated 08 December 2025.

In view of the request received from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), and with the objective of enabling wider participation of candidates and providing adequate opportunity to a larger number of aspirants to apply for the examination, it has been decided to extend the timelines for submission of online application forms for NIFTEE-2026.

The extension is intended to benefit candidates across various regions and to ensure that the maximum number of eligible candidates are able to complete the application process, particularly in view of the recent addition of examination cities.

Accordingly, online registration and submission of the application form at https://exams.nta.nic.in/niftee/ can be done till 13 January 2026 (Tuesday).

Submission of the application form with a late fee of Rs. 5000/-, in addition to the application fee, can be done from 14 January 2026 to 16 January 2026.

Corrections in the particulars of the application form can be done online only from 18 January 2026 to 19 January 2026.

NIFTEE-2026 was initially notified with 100 examination cities, which were subsequently increased to 102 examination cities vide Public Notice dated 23 December 2025.

All other terms and conditions, eligibility criteria, examination schemes, and instructions shall remain unchanged and shall continue to be governed by the Information Bulletin and earlier Public Notices issued in this regard.

Candidates must regularly visit www.nta.ac.in and https://exams.nta.nic.in/niftee/ for the latest updates and complete the application process well before the last date to avoid last-minute difficulties.
