NTA has opened a one-time correction window allowing candidates to edit selected details in NIFTEE 2026 application forms.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has given the facility for correction in particulars of the online application form of the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) 2026.
NTA will conduct NIFTEE 2026 Stage 1 on 8 February 2026 (Sunday) at various examination centres located in different cities across India in Computer Based Test (CBT)/Paper Based Test (PBT) mode for Academic Session 2026-27.
As per the information published in the Information Bulletin and Public Notice, NTA has decided to provide candidates an opportunity to make corrections in particulars of their application forms of NIFTEE-2026.
Correction in specified fields as per Annexure 1 of the Notice dated 20.1.2026 available at https://exams.nta.nic.in/niftee/ can be done from 21 January 2026 to 11.50 pm on 22 January 2026. Thereafter, no correction in particulars whatsoever will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances.
As per Annexure I, candidates shall not be allowed to change their mobile number, e-mail address, address (permanent and present), or signature (image upload).
Candidates shall be allowed to change any one of the fields among Candidate Name, Father Name, and Mother Name.
Candidates shall be allowed to change the fields: Date of Birth; Gender; Category; Sub-category / PwBD; Class 10/Equivalent details; Class 12/Equivalent details; Graduation Details (if applicable); Post-Graduation Details (if applicable);
Candidates shall be allowed to change examination states and cities (Examination City Selection).
Candidates shall be allowed to edit Programme Selection.
If there is an impact on the fee on account of changes, then the additional fee will be charged, as applicable. Candidates can add or change their programme as per their eligibility; however additional fee will be charged. Correction in these fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee, if any.
In case of a change in Category, or PwBD, if there is an impact on the fee amount, then the candidate will be charged an excess fee, as applicable. The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate concerned either through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI. Excess payment made will not be refunded, if any.
Final correction shall be applicable only after payment of an additional fee, if required. Candidates will only have one opportunity to make corrections. Once the corrections are done and submitted, the form shall be frozen.
All the registered candidates may visit https://exams.nta.nic.in/niftee/ and verify their particulars. They may make correction/s in their particulars in their application form, if required.
Since this is a one-time facility extended to candidates to avoid any hardship to them, candidates should do the correction very carefully, as no further opportunity for correction will be given to the candidates.
