National Testing Agency (NTA) has displayed the Provisional Answer Keys, and Question Paper with Recorded Responses for Answer Key Challenge for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026.

NCET is a national-level examination conducted by the NTA, on behalf of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for admission to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP). Qualifying in NCET is a mandatory requirement for seeking admission to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in selected Central/State Universities/Institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs and Government Colleges etc.

NTA conducted the NCET 2026 on 17 and 18 April, 2026 across India through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for about 73,608 candidates.

The Provisional Answer Keys along with the Question Papers and Recorded Responses have been uploaded on the website https://exams.nta.nic.in/ncet/ for all candidates who appeared for NCET 2026 to challenge.

Candidates, who are not satisfied with the Answer Key, may challenge the same by paying a fee of 200/- per question challenged as a non-refundable processing fee.

Answer Key Challenge can be made up to 11.50 pm on 30 April 2026. Payment of fee for challenge can be made through, Debit card/Credit Card/ Net Banking/UPI till 11.50 pm on 30 April 2026.

No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee. The fee towards the challenge will not be accepted through any other mode.

If challenge(s) made by the candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. The keys finalized by the Experts after the settlement of the challenge will be final.

Challenges accepted against any Answer Key will be applicable to all candidates who would have attempted the corresponding Question. Candidates may note that in bi-lingual question papers, in case of any discrepancy in the translation, the English version shall prevail except in Language Test papers.

Based on the revised Final Answer Keys, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge.
