The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the facility for corrections in the particulars of the online application form of the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026.

The National Testing Agency will conduct the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026 for admission to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in selected Central/State Universities/Institutions, including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges for the Academic Session 2026-27 on 17 April 2026. Registration for the aforesaid examination has been closed.

As per the information published in the Information Bulletin and Public Notice, it has been decided to provide an opportunity to make corrections in the particulars of their respective application forms of NCET 2026.

Corrections in the particulars fields as given in Annexure I of the notice dated 12.3.2026 at https://exams.nta.nic.in/ncet/ can be made up to 11.50 pm on 14 March 2026.

All registered candidates for this examination must visit https://exams.nta.nic.in/ncet/ and verify their particulars. They may make correction(s) in their particulars, in their application form, if required during the specified time period. Thereafter, no correction in particulars will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances. The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate through credit/debit card/net banking/UPI.

Since it is a one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid any hardship to them, candidates may do the correction very carefully, as no further opportunity for correction will be given to the candidates.

The list of central and state universities/institutions, including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and other government colleges, which have been approved by the NCTE to offer the ITE Programme has increased from 223 to 284, and the list is updated on the website.

Candidates who have applied for the NCET 2026 and want to modify their choice of university/institution/course can make the necessary modifications during the period when the correction window is open.
