National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), New Delhi – 110029, has invited applications for the Fellowship Entrance Test (FET) 2025 for Indian and International students.

FET 2025 is a qualifying-cum-ranking examination for admission to Fellow of National Board (FNB) Courses and Fellowship Programme for International Candidates (FPIS) of the 2025 admission session.

NBEMS offers Post Graduate / Post-doctoral fellowship courses to facilitate and encourage post-graduates aspiring to learn skills and competencies in their area of interest and to provide the highest quality of speciality services comparable to any country in the world.

NBEMS offers 36 specialities for Indian Candidates and 16 specialities for International candidates.

Eligibility: Applicants should be in possession of a recognised postgraduate medical Degree / Provisional Degree Certificate / Provisional Pass Certificate / Provisional Certificate (MD / MS / DM / MCh / DNB / DrNB) or an equivalent recognised qualification by 31.12.2025 in accordance with the eligible feeder qualifications for Fellowship courses as mentioned in Annexure-B of the Information Bulletin. Registration with NMC / State Medical Council is mandatory, and its documentary proof should be furnished at the test Centre on the examination day.

There is no upper age limit for training in Fellowship courses.

Selection to the fellowship programme is based on the Fellowship Entrance Test (FET), and admission to the courses will be through centralised merit-based counselling.

Scheme of FET 2025: FET is an MCQ-based examination to be held on 14th March 2026 from 9 am. The test will be of 105 minutes in 2 parts, with Part A of 45 minutes and Part B of 60 minutes.

For FET 2025, Certain Fellowship Courses will be considered individually, and certain others have been clubbed together; each clubbed group of Fellowship Courses shall be treated as one for the purpose of online submission of the application form and generation of the question paper.

A candidate can opt for only one Fellowship course/ clubbed group at the time of online submission of the application form based on his/her eligibility for the concerned Fellowship course. There shall be a separate question paper for each fellowship course / clubbed group.

Total number of questions in each question paper shall be 100, which shall be divided into two parts: Part A with 40 questions & Part-B with 60 questions. More details of the Nature of questions are given in the Information Bulletin. Each correct response will get 4 marks. For each incorrect response, 1 mark shall be deducted.

Applications can be submitted online at https://www.nbe.edu.in/ till 11:55 p.m. on 03rd February 2026. Examination Fee for both the Indian and International candidates is Rs. 3,500/- to be paid online.

Edit Window for all Payment- Success applications will be open from 06.02.2026 to 09.02.2026. Any information/documents except Name, Nationality, Email, mobile number, Aadhaar and Test City can be edited in this period. Final Selective Edit Window to rectify Deficient/Incorrect Images (Photograph/Signatures/Thumb Impression) will be available from 17.02.2026 to 19.02.2026.

Test City intimation will be given on 26.02.2026. Admit Cards will be available on 10.03.2026. Result is expected to be declared by 14.04.2026.
