National Biennial Competition of National Innovation Foundation-India: Apply by March 31

National Innovation Foundation-India, an autonomous body of the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India has notified the 13th National Biennial Competition for Green Grassroots Unaided Technological Innovations and Traditional Knowledge.

Grassroots innovators, school students, school dropouts, people in employment or self-employed may submit their original technological innovations, creative ideas, or traditional knowledge for the Competition.

The innovations can be in the field of agriculture, engineering, health, energy, household or utility, transportation, livestock etc. leading to the reduction in drudgery, livelihood generation, development of plant varieties or herbal remedies for human/animal/farming problems, or any other low-cost sustainable green technologies.

Applicants may win prizes ranging from Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 7,50,000/- as well as incubation support for unaided, scientific, novel, and useful innovations and outstanding traditional knowledge. People with professional background/experience and students enrolled in professional courses are not eligible for any support/recognition.
