There is no provision for resignation in this round.
As per the directions of the Supreme Court of India, the filtering out of joined All India Quota (AIQ) candidates is mandatory before the stray vacancy round of state UG counselling.
Accordingly, MCC has asked all state counselling authorities to weed out the allotted candidates of AIQ before the seat processing of the stray vacancy round of state counselling, so that candidates holding a seat in AIQ are not allotted any seat through state counselling.
State counselling authorities have been asked to download the list of allotted candidates from the data sharing portal of MCC.
The reporting for the Stray Round of UG Counselling 2025 will start at 9 am on 16.11.2025.
