Mathrubhumi ASPIRE 2022: Sessions on business, civil service sees active participation of students

The second day of the Mathrubhumi ASPIRE national education fair 2022 witnessed various events, starting with a session led by Dr Deepika Krishnan on the topic 'Modernization of Business'.

Dr Deepika Krishna is a professor at Presidency University, Bangalore. She explained the various aspects of applying and pursuing business management and professional courses. The session highlighted the importance of research and innovative thinking in business. The world has rapidly developed if we compare the drastic change in traditional and modern enterprises, and it's essential to have effective communication and skills. The session also covered various other courses besides business management and commerce for the students to pursue after their plus two. Every educational institution should provide internships and various learning opportunities for the students to develop and have a practical understanding of life individually.

The book and exhibition stalls set up in the venue witnessed the active participation of students. Many top educational institutions in the country provide opportunities for the students to interact and understand more about the scope of various subjects and how to build a professional career.

Jyothis Mohan IRS, Joint Commissioner, Income Tax, Kochi, conducted the second and concluding session of ASPIRE on the topic 'How to fulfil the dream of civil service'. He started with his inspirational story of achieving civil service from average family background and the struggles he faced during his preparations. Civil service is not only a profession but also a social service. It plays an important role in an individual's overall development, and we should be honest in our work. He added that everyone is different in their ways and do not give up until you succeed in your life. Jyothis Mohan discussed the significant subjects and syllabus for the civil service examination through an entertaining and interactive session.

The two days at Mathrubhumi ASPIRE national education fair 2022 witnessed a large audience, including students and parents, who are eager to know more about the future of education. The exhibitions in the venue offered good exposure to the audience to some of the top educational institutions.
