CEE Kerala has begun the second round stray vacancy allotment for LLM admissions 2025–26. Eligible candidates can register options till January 5.

Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram-695 001, has commenced the activities related to the Second Round Stray Vacancy Allotment to fill up the vacant seats that exist/arise after the first round stray vacancy allotment for admission to LLM Course in the Government Law Colleges and Private Self- financing Law Colleges for the year 2025-26, at www.cee.kerala.gov.in
Those who have figured in the rank list of LLM Course 2025 published by the CEE and satisfy the eligibility criteria as per clause 9 in the Prospectus can register fresh options and participate in this phase of allotment, subject to the conditions stipulated. Those who have already been admitted will not be eligible to participate in this phase and subsequent phases of allotments. Those who have been allotted a vacant seat in vacant seat allotment/ first round stray vacancy allotment will not be eligible to participate in this phase and subsequent phases of allotments. Candidates already admitted but who obtained their Transfer Certificate (T.C.) after 2 pm on December 22, 2025, are ineligible to participate in this phase and any subsequent allotment phases.
Vacancy after the first round of the stray vacancy allotment has been published. Candidates can check the list at www.cee.kerala.gov.in. Probable vacancies due to category conversions will also be filled in the second round of stray vacancy allotment based on the options in this stray vacancy allotment. Hence, candidates may take into account probable vacancies also.
Registration Fees: Candidates who wish to register options in the stray vacancy seat allotment will have to pay a separate registration fee of Rs.2000/- online to the CEE. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OEC category are eligible for benefits as per G.O (Ms) No. 25/2005/SCSTDD, dated: 20.06.2005 and G.O (Ms) No.10/2014/ BCDD, dated: 23.05.2014 and those candidates from Juvenile Home, Nirbhaya Home, Sreechithra Home will have to remit Rs.500/- as Registration Fee. However, those who paid the registration fee in previous allotment phases but do not hold an active admission as of 2 pm on December 22, 2025, the deadline for free exit, are exempted from further payment. Those candidates who paid the option registration fee in the vacant seat allotment or the First round stray vacancy allotment but were not allotted a seat in the vacant seat allotment or First round stray vacancy allotment, as the case may be, do not have to pay the option registration fee again in this round.
The registration fee of those candidates who do not get allotment will be refunded. Refund of the option registration fee for the eligible candidates will be made only after the completion of the allotment process, and it will be notified. If a candidate gets allotment and does not join within the stipulated time, the option registration fee will be considered as a penalty and will not be refunded. The registration fee of the candidates who quit the seats after taking admission will be considered as a penalty and will not be refunded.
Option Registration for this round can be done till 2 pm on 05.01.2026. The Allotment and Institution Joining Schedule will be notified later.
Candidates who get allotment in this phase have to join the allotted college with all the original certificates as given in the prospectus clause 19 within the stipulated time to be announced by the CEE and should remit applicable tuition fee, other fees and the deposits (if applicable) in the allotted colleges at the time of admission.
The seats received through the second round stray vacancy allotment cannot be changed further.
Candidates who are allotted a seat in the second round of the stray vacancy allotment, irrespective of the admission status, will not be eligible for any subsequent allotments.
After the second round of Stray Vacancy Allotment, if vacancies exist/arise, these vacancies shall be filled through college-level stray Vacancy Allotment. For college-level stray vacancy allotment, options registered by candidates during this round of the Stray Vacancy Allotments will be considered. A detailed notification will be issued later.
Allotment shall be subject to the final order/affiliation/approval of the Government/University concerned.
