CEE Kerala opens second round stray vacancy allotment for 5-year LL.B. courses, registration ends September 26

Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala, has commenced the activities related to the Second Round Stray Vacancy Allotment to fill up the vacant seats that exist/ arise in the Integrated Five Year LL.B. Courses in the Government Law Colleges and Private Self- Financing Law Colleges for the year 2025-26, after the first round stray vacancy allotment, at www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
Those who have already been admitted and those who have got allotment in vacant seat allotment/ first round stray vacancy allotment; will not be eligible to participate in this phase and subsequent phases of allotments.
Eligible candidates who have figured in the rank list of Integrated Five Year LL.B. Courses 2025 published by the CEE and satisfy the eligibility criteria as per clause 9 in the Prospectus can register fresh options and participate in this phase of allotment. As the probable vacancies due to category conversions will also be filled up in the second round stray vacancy allotment based on the options received in this round, candidates are advised to take into account probable vacancies also.
Vacancy after first round stray vacancy allotment will be published at www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
Registration Fees: Candidates who wish to register options in second round stray vacancy allotment will have to pay separate registration fees of Rs.1000/- to the CEE by way of online payment. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OEC/other categories mentioned in the Notification will have to remit Rs.500/- as Registration Fee. Candidates who had submitted options in the first round of stray vacancy allotment but did not receive any allotment in that round are exempted from paying the registration fee.
Option Registration can be done at www.cee.kerala.gov.in latest by 1 pm on 26.09.2025.
Allotment and Institution Joining Schedule will be notified later. Allotment shall be subject to the final order/affiliation/approval of the Govt./Bar Council of India/University concerned.
Candidates who get allotment in this phase will have to join the allotted college with all the original certificates as given in the prospectus clause 19 with in the stipulated time to be announced by the CEE and should remit applicable tuition fee, other fees and the deposits (if applicable) in the allotted colleges at the time of admission.
The registration fee of those candidates who do not get allotment will be refunded after the completion of allotment process and it will be notified. If a candidate gets allotment and does not join within the stipulated time, the option registration fee will be considered as penalty and will not be refunded. Option registration fee of the candidates who quit the seats after taking admission will be considered as penalty and will not be refunded.
Candidates who are allotted a seat in the second round stray vacancy allotment, irrespective of the admission status, will not be eligible for any subsequent allotments.
The seats received through second round stray vacancy allotment cannot be changed further.
After the second round stray vacancy allotment, if vacancies exist/arise, these vacancies shall be filled through college level Stray Vacancy Allotment to be notified later. For college level stray vacancy allotment, options registered by candidates during this round Stray Vacancy Allotment will be considered.
