The issue stems from delays in the publication of CBSE revaluation results, leaving many students unable to update their scores for the KEAM rank list

Thiruvananthapuram: This year's KEAM rank list is also likely to face legal challenges, as a section of students who applied for revaluation of their CBSE Class 12 examination papers were unable to upload their revised marks before the deadline.
The issue stems from delays in the publication of CBSE revaluation results, leaving many students unable to update their scores for the KEAM rank list. Last year too, the KEAM rank list was challenged in court over the controversy surrounding mark equalisation.

The Higher Education Department had postponed the publication of the rank list to accommodate students awaiting their revaluation results. The deadline for uploading revised marks was also extended until 23 June.
The government had initially planned to release the rank list a week earlier but deferred it to allow students whose marks had increased after revaluation to submit their updated scores.
However, the revaluation results of around 13 per cent of the applicants were published only on Friday, after the extended deadline had expired.
Parents have since raised complaints, arguing that affected students were unfairly denied the opportunity to have their revised marks considered. However, the government has maintained that the publication of the rank list cannot be delayed any further.
