The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, has opened the facility to register new options for the fifth round stray vacancy allotment to Ayurveda/Homoeo/Siddha/Unani and Medical Allied Courses, KEAM-2025.

Vacancies that have arisen in various government/self-financing colleges after the Fourth Phase Stray Allotment in undergraduate courses in Ayurveda/Homoeo/Sidha/Unani and in medical allied courses will be filled up through the Fifth Phase Stray Vacancy Filling Allotment.

Candidates who are included in the Kerala State Medical Rank List published by the CEE can register fresh options for this round through www.cee.kerala.gov.in by clicking the menu ‘Stray Vacancy Option Registration’ available in the Home page.

Registration fee: General/SEBC candidates who wish to register options in the Fifth Round Stray Vacancy Filling Allotment will have to pay Rs. 15,000/- and those belonging to SC/ST/OEC/other categories mentioned in the Notification have to pay Rs. 5000/- as Option Registration fee to CEE.

The registration fee of those candidates who get an allotment through Stray Vacancy filling will be carried over to Tuition Fee and the registration fee of those candidates who will not get any allotment will be refunded. The registration fee of those candidates who do not join the seat within the stipulated time will be considered as penalty and will not be refunded. Such students will also be penalized as per KEAM Prospectus clause 12.2.4. The registration fee of those candidates who quit seats after taking admission through stray vacancy filling will also be considered as penalty and will not be refunded. Such students will also be penalized as per KEAM Prospectus clause 12.2.4.

Since the probable vacancies that may arise during the course of stray vacancy filling allotment will also be included in the same seat allotment process, candidates shall give options to all colleges and courses which they are desirous of joining if allotted, irrespective of the current vacancy status. Un-allotted category seats still existing will be converted during this phase as per existing prospectus conditions. Candidates should give options only to courses and colleges where they wish to study, if getting allotment.

Candidates who have submitted online application for AYUSH courses to CEE as per notification dated 14.01.2026 or as per earlier notifications can also register options. However only those eligible candidates who are included in the revised Kerala State Merit List will be considered for allotment.

Candidates who got allotment or joined the allotted seat in the third round/first phase stray vacancy allotment/second phase stray vacancy allotment/third phase stray vacancy allotment/fourth phase stray vacancy allotment are not eligible for participating in the fifth phase stray vacancy allotment. Candidates who are still continuing in admitted status consequent on previous allotments (Phase I/II/III, First Round Stray Vacancy Allotment, Second Round Stray Vacancy Allotment, Third Stray Vacancy Allotment & Fourth Round Stray Vacancy Allotment) are not eligible for participating in Fifth Stray Vacancy Filling Allotment.

The ineligible candidates as per the list issued by AACCC will not be considered for the fifth stray round allotment in the State. Those candidates who vacated the seat after 5 pm on 24.10.2025 are not eligible for participating in the stray vacancy filling allotment.

Options can be registered till 11 am on 19.01.2026. Provisional Allotment will be announced on 19.01.2026 and Final Allotment on 20.01.2026. Those getting allotment must join the allotted colleges after paying the fees/balance fee (if applicable) as shown in the allotment memo during 21.01.2026 and 4 pm on 23.01.2026.

The seat received through stray vacancy allotment cannot be changed further.

Fees The details of fee for the Ayurveda / Homoeopathy /Siddha /Unani and Medical Allied courses, in various colleges is available in the website. Candidates allotted under SC/ST/OEC/other categories mentioned in the Notification need not pay the fee at the time of admission. However, if such candidates are allotted under Management quota seats in Self-Financing AYUSH colleges, they will have to remit the fee as shown in the allotment memo and they will not be eligible for any fee concession.
