
Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has opened the facility for registration of options for admission to the MBBS & BDS courses for 2023 in Kerala. Those candidates included in the State Medical Rank List published by the CEE and who have secured the minimum cut off score in NEET UG 2023 are eligible to register options for MBBS/BDS at www.cee.kerala.gov.in in the first phase of allotment, latest by 10 am on 31.7.2023.
Allotment will be done on the basis of the options registered by the candidates. Provisional allotment will be published on 02.08.2023 and final allotment will be published on 03.08.2023. Those getting allotment should remit the fee to be paid to CEE shown in the allotment memo, online or in Head Post Offices in Kerala and then join the college allotted. Fee can be paid from 05.08.2023. Admission has to be taken after that in college allotted latest by 4 pm on 08.08.2023. College authorities shall approve and send the list of admitted candidates through OAMS to reach the CEE latest by 5 pm on 8.8.2023.
A total of 12 Government Medical Colleges and 18 Private Self-financing Medical Colleges have been included in this phase of allotment. However, allotment to 2 Government Medical Colleges and 3 Private Self-financing Colleges will be subject to University/Government orders in this regard. There are 6 Government and 20 Private Self-financing Dental Colleges included in this phase of allotment. The full list of colleges is given in the detailed Notification at www.cee.kerla.gov.in.
The annual fee for MBBS in Govt. Medical Colleges is Rs. 23,150/- and that for BDS in Govt. Dental Colleges is Rs. 20,840/-. As the fees structure for Self Financing Medical/Dental Colleges for the academic year 2023-24 has not been fixed yet, candidates who get allotment in Self Financing Medical/Dental Colleges should pay the fee fixed for the year 2022-23 provisionally. Further if the fee fixed by the ASC/Govt./Hon'ble Court for the academic year 2023-24 is higher than that of the provisionally paid fee, candidates are liable to pay the balance fee. The fee structure Self Financing Medical/Dental Colleges for 2022-23 to be paid by those getting allotment is given in the Notification.
Option Registration fee: Those candidates who wish to register options will have to remit registration fee of Rs. 5,000/- to the CEE. The registration fee will be adjusted in the tuition fee of those candidates who take admission consequent on allotments. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OEC category and certain other categories will have to remit Rs.500 /- only as Registration Fee. The Registration Fee of such candidates who take admission in the allotted college/course will be adjusted in the caution deposit.
The registration fee of those candidates who do not get allotment will be refunded. Bank account details should be provided by the candidates for facilitating refund if any. Registration of options can be done only after paying the registration fee.
Registration Fees can be remitted at any of the Head Post Offices in Kerala or by way of online payment. The list of Post Offices is available in the website. For more details, the detailed Notification may be seen.
