Fiscal Policy Institute Karnataka invites applications for Internship Programme 2026–27.

Fiscal Policy Institute, Government of Karnataka, Kengeri Post, Bengaluru-Mysuru Road, Kengeri, Bengaluru-560 060, has invited applications for the Internship Programme 2026-27 on a contract basis.
The Programme gives an opportunity to students to gain experiential learning in Government / Public Governance and will provide insights into practical aspects of Fiscal and Financial areas.
The preferred areas of Internship include Taxation (GST & Excise), Expenditure, Debt & Liabilities Management, Fiscal Decentralization, Audit & accounts, and project management.
The duration of the Internship Programme is 2 months from the date of reporting, with a stipend of Rs. 10,000/- per student per month (Maximum of Rs. 20,000/-). Duration may be extended if necessary, with the prior approval of the Director, FPI, for another month without stipend.
Eligibility: Currently enrolled students in Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Law, Finance, Women Studies, Business Management, Commerce, Public Administration, Development Studies, Population Studies and Agricultural Economics at recognised Universities/ Institutions of Higher Learning of good repute are eligible to apply.
