CBSE will soon release the CTET February 2026 provisional answer key on ctet.nic.in. Candidates will also be able to access scanned OMR sheets and raise objections by paying a fee per question.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the provisional answer keys for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 session soon. Once released, candidates will be able to download the CTET February 2026 answer key from the official website — ctet.nic.in.
Along with the provisional answer key, CBSE will also publish the scanned images of candidates’ OMR answer sheets. This will allow candidates to verify their responses and compare them with the official answer key.
The CTET February 2026 examination was conducted on February 7 and 8 across multiple centres in the country. Due to administrative reasons, the exam was conducted again on March 1 for two centres in Bihar.
Candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional answer key will be allowed to raise objections within the stipulated window. To challenge a question, candidates will need to submit their objections online and pay a prescribed fee for each question.
The CTET exam is conducted in two papers. Paper 1 is meant for candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 is for those aiming to teach Classes 6 to 8.
CTET scores are used to apply for teaching positions in schools run by the central government, including Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS), and central Tibetan schools. The scores are also considered by schools under the administrative control of union territories such as Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, and the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Additionally, unaided private schools may choose to consider CTET scores during recruitment.
