CBSE issues new Class X guidelines detailing section-wise answer writing rules for Science and Social Science

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued guidelines to Class X students for board examinations in view of the changes in the question paper pattern of science and social science of Class X.
Question papers of science and social science will be divided into different sections as follows, with a view to improve the quality of evaluation:
Science: The question paper has been divided into three sections, Section A- Biology, Section B -Chemistry and Section C- Physics.
Social Science: The question paper has been divided into four sections, Section A- History, Section B- Geography, Section C- Political Science and Section D- Economics.
In this regard, the Sample Question Papers of both Science and Social Science have been hosted on CBSE Academic website https://cbseacademic.nic.in/ for reference (Sample Question Paper link).
CBSE has also issued instructions for the students appearing in Class X board examinations regarding the answering of questions in science and social science.
Students will divide the answer book into 03 sections in science and 04 sections in social science for writing answers.
Replies to questions are to be written only within the space identified for the concerned section only. A reply to a section should not be written or mixed in any other section.
In case replies are mixed, these will not be evaluated, and no marks will be awarded.
