
Research organization C fore has announced this year’s school survey results. The findings are published in Brainfeed magazine and also in the website www.cforerankings.com.
Gems Modern Academy in Kochi has been ranked 10th among the best day schools in the country offering an international curriculum. Meanwhile, Pallikoodam School in Kottayam secured the second position as India's Best Day Cum Boarding School with an Indian curriculum.
Schools were assessed under 14 parameters and ranked in 16 different categories. i.e. Day Co-ed, Day cum boarding, Day girls, Day boys, Residential Co-ed, Residential boys, Residential girls, International day, International day cum boarding and International residential schools, Government/Defence services day, Govt./Defence services residential, Best emerging (International Schools), Best emerging (Indian curriculum) schools, Special need schools and philanthropic schools.
The ranking was based on a perceptual survey conducted in 92 cities/towns from March to July 2024. The sample consisted of parents belonging to SEC (Socio-Economic Category) A, teachers, principals, educationists and senior students of various schools. In all, 41,257 persons were interviewed.
“The prime objective of this exercise, besides giving right information to stakeholders, has always been to elevate the standard of education by promoting healthy competition between schools. The purpose of this study, more importantly, has also been to identify quality benchmarks and share best practices that facilitate effective dissemination of knowledge and help students to discover and unlock their potential while retaining their curiosity, creativity and interest in learning,” says Premchand Palety, founder of C fore.
