National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru, India has invited applications for admissions to Undergraduate Courses for Academic Year 2023-24, September 2023 session.
Programs and eligibility for admission are as follows:
B.Sc. in Nursing: Passed Plus 2/equivalent (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum 45% aggregate marks.
B.Sc. in Radiography: Passed Plus 2/equivalent (10+2) with English and Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as optional subjects with 45% aggregate marks or passed Job oriented Diploma course from a recognized board with Diagnostic Radiography as vocational subject or equivalent
B.Sc. in Anaesthesia Technology: Passed Plus 2/equivalent (10+2) with a Science group having secured an aggregate of 45% marks in Science subjects.
B.Sc. in Clinical Neurophysiology Technology: Passed Plus 2/equivalent (10+2) with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects and having 45% aggregate marks in Science subjects.
Duration of the BSc Nursing Programme is 4 years. The other 3 Programs are of 3 years’ duration. All Programmes have 1-year internship after the course period.
Seats are reserved under All India Category and Karnataka Domicile Category, details of which are available in the Prospectus that can be downloaded from https://nimhansonline.in/
Selection: Selection to the four Programs will be based on a Common Entrance Test of 90 minutes’ duration to be conducted at Bengaluru city only on 16.7.2023. The question paper for Entrance test will contain 100 multiple choice objective type questions. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answers.
After the Entrance Test, a list of candidates qualified for admission in the order of merit will be announced on both the website and the notice board of the Institute with the details of venue, date and time of admission.
Application: Application should be submitted Online at https://nimhansonline.in/ latest by 7.7.2023 along with all the attachments, signature and photograph. All claims made in the application must be supported with documentary proof in original along with a set of photocopies at the time of admission.
A candidate can apply for a maximum of 3 courses only. Application fee per course is Rs.1000/- (Rs.750/- for SC/ST) to be paid using Debit/Credit Card. There is no application fee for PwBD applicants.
