New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the schedule for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026. Online registrations will begin on April 23, 2026, and the highly competitive entrance examination will be conducted on May 17 in two shifts.

While the registration fees for candidates appearing at centres in India remain unchanged, IIT Roorkee has announced a fee hike for candidates opting for examination centres outside India. Depending on the category, overseas candidates will now have to pay up to US $200.
For candidates appearing in India, the registration fee for female candidates across all categories is Rs 1,600. The same fee applies to candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), the Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD). Candidates from all other categories are required to pay Rs 3,200.
For OCI/PIO candidates, the fee structure mirrors that of Indian candidates, with Rs 1,600 for female candidates and OPEN (GEN-PwD) categories, while OPEN (GEN) candidates must pay Rs 3,200.
Foreign nationals and OCI/PIO candidates residing in SAARC countries—including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka—will be charged US $100, while those residing in non-SAARC countries will need to pay US $200.
