Indian Navy has invited Online applications from unmarried men and women candidates for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) under Executive Branch (Law and Sports) of the Indian Navy.
Eligibility: For SSC Executive (Law) and SSC Executive (Sports), applicants should have been born between 2nd July 1997 and 1st July 2002 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification: For SSC Executive (Law) applicants should have a Degree in Law qualifying for enrolment as an advocate under Advocates Act,1961, with minimum 55% marks. There are 2 vacancies.
For SSC Executive (Sports), applicants should hold a Regular Post Graduate Degree or BE/B.Tech in any field. Professional Qualification - Applicants should have participation in Athletics/Football/Swimming/Squash/ Tennis at Senior Level National Championships/ Games. For SSC Executive (Sports), candidates with Diploma in Sports Coaching from National Institute of Sports and M.Sc. in Sports (Coaching) will be given priority during shortlisting for SSB. There are 2 vacancies.
Selection: Shortlisting of application will be based on normalised marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree. Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree will be normalised using formulae mentioned at https://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in/files/normalisation.pdf.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview through email or SMS (provided by candidates in their application form). Candidates should not change their email/ mobile number till the selection process is over.

Training: Candidates will be inducted in the rank of Sub Lieutenant. Selected candidates will undergo Naval Orientation Course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala
