CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (NCL) Pune – 411008 has notified the recruitment of project staff at the institute.

The positions and eligibility are as follows:

Project Assistant II (PA-II) [No. of Positions: 1]: B.Sc./3 Years Diploma in Engineering/Technology; Age Limit – 35 years

Project Associate-I [No. of Positions: 1]: M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry / Physical Chemistry from a recognised university. Age Limit – 35 years.

Principal Project Associate [No. of Positions: 1]: Doctoral Degree in Science and three years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organisations and scientific activities and services. Age Limit – 40 years.

For all positions, the upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of those belonging to SC/ST/PWD/women and 3 years for OBC candidates.

The engagement will be initially for a period of twelve months which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the tenure of the sponsored project/satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be.

Where the number of applications received in response to this Notice of Engagement is large, the Project Leader may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to reasonable limits after taking into consideration qualifications and experience over and above the minimum qualifications prescribed in the Notice.

The candidates recommended by the Screening Committee to be called for interview would be notified on the website as well as the divisional Notice Board on 11.06.2025.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear before the Selection Committee for an online interview. For online interview URL link will be provided to shortlisted candidates later via email on or before 11.06.2025. The interview will be conducted online from 10 am on 12.06.2025 through a suitable medium such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Cisco WebEx, etc. No interview call letter will be issued separately.

Selected candidates will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer of engagement.
