POWERGRID, a ‘Maharatna’ Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India is looking for bright, committed and energetic Law Graduates to join its fold as Officer Trainee (Law). 

Essential Qualification: Applicant should hold a full-time 3 years LLB or Five years integrated Law/LLB course with not less than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Applicant should have registered for CLAT 2024 PG and should appear for the same.

Age Limit: Upper age limit as on 29.11.2023 will be 28 years. Applicants should have been born on or after 29.11.1996 and on or before 29.11.2005. Relaxation in Upper Age Limit will be as follows: OBC(NCL): 3 years; SC/ST: 5 years; PwBD: 10 years over and above category relaxation; Ex-Servicemen/ Victims of riots: As per Govt. of India directives.

Selection: The selection process shall consist of CLAT-2024 PG Rank/score of eligible candidates, Document Verification, Behavioral Assessment, Group Discussion, Personal Interview & Pre-Employment Medical Examination.

Qualified candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Group Discussion & Personal Interview based on their actual marks in CLAT 2024 PG.

For calculation of final score of a candidate for empanelment, the weightages assigned to CLAT 2024 marks, Group Discussion and Interview shall be 85%, 3% and 12% respectively.

Application Fees of Rs. 500/- has to be paid as instructed in the Notification/website. SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM/DEx-SM candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. 

Candidates will be required to retain their CLAT 2024 Admit card/Hall Ticket for verification at the time of GD/ Interview / Joining in POWERGRID.
