NTPC Limited, a Govt. of India Enterprise; Regd. Office: NTPC Bhawan, SCOPE Complex, 7, Institutional Area, Lodi Road, New Delhi-110003, has invited applications for positions of Junior Executives (Biomass).  

Positions and Reservations

There are 50 positions distributed as follows: UR- 22, EWS- 5, OBC- 13, SC- 7, ST-3. Reservation for PwBD candidates will be as per Govt. Guidelines.

Tenure of Engagement will be 1 year which can be further extended as per performance and requirement. Junior Executives have to ensure management, utilization and alternative uses of waste & biomass along with spreading awareness about biomass among farmers and public etc. 

Remuneration

Monthly consolidated amount of Rs. 40,000/- will be paid to those selected. Additionally, Company accommodation/ HRA, Medical facility for self, spouse, two children and dependent parents will also be provided.

Eligibility

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. Applicants should hold B.Sc. in Agriculture Science from a recognized university/college/institute, with minimum 40% marks in the graduation degree. SC/ST/PwBD candidates need only pass marks.

Upper age limit is 27 years. It is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, by 3 years for OBC candidates, by 10 years for PwBD candidates. Relaxation of age to Ex-Serviceman will be as per Govt. guidelines.

The candidate should have sound health. Before joining, candidates will have to undergo medical examination at any of the NTPC hospitals. No relaxation in health standards is allowed. Detailed medical norms are available at https://careers.ntpc.co.in/ 

Posting will be done in field work at various NTPC Stations/Projects/ JVs/ Subsidiaries/ Offices as per organizational requirement. All posts are transferable at the sole discretion of the Management.

Application

Applications can be submitted online latest by 28.10.2024, at https://careers.ntpc.co.in/recruitment/. Application fee is Rs. 300/- which can be paid Online/Offline. SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category & female applicants are exempted from payment of application fee.

All computations of age/ qualification shall be done w.r.t. the last date of receipt of online application as mentioned in the advertisement. 

After applying online, candidate is required to download the application slip generated by the system with unique application number and retained by the candidate for future reference. No document is required to be sent to NTPC by post. 

Management may conduct online screening/shortlisting/selection test or raise the minimum eligibility standards/ criteria, as per requirement to restrict the number of candidates to be called for an interview, if so required.
