Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata, an autonomous Body funded by Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation, Govt of India, has invited applications from 'fresh' Master degree holders in Statistics/ Data Science/ Economics/ Econometrics with experience in Computer Programming/ Statistical Packages for an on-the-job training programme in Applied Statistics and Econometrics, conducted by the Sampling and Official Statistics Unit and the Applied Statistics Unit of the Institute.

Those who have completed their Master degree in Statistics/ Economics in 2020, or are awaiting the results, may apply.

The programme will continue till 31 March 2021 and may be extended considering the performance of the selected candidates and availability of funds.

Selected candidates will be given a consolidated stipend of Rs.25000/- per month.

Application in English, addressed to the Head, Sampling and Official Statistics Unit should be sent preferably by e-mail at the address sosu@isical.ac.in  so as to reach on or before 20 November 2020.

Those selected to appear for an online test-cum-interview on 27 November 2020, will be informed by e-mail with details.
