Thiruvananthapuram: CSIR-NIIST is organising a ‘Startup Conclave’ on Monday (March 13) on the sidelines of its flagship programme ‘One Week One Lab’ hosted on National Institute For Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST) campus here during March 13–17. Startup Conclave will be attended by about 300 representatives from various startups across the country, said a media release.

“This is a great opportunity for startups to come together and deliberate on R&D support from research institutes, financial support from funding agencies etc,” it read.

Two panel discussions on ‘Technology and R&D requirements of Startups’ and ‘Opportunities and Financial support for Startups’ will be held after the inauguration. An exhibition of technologies and products of CSIR-NIIST will also take place in connection with the Startup Conclave. There will also be stalls from Startups and industries, who have licensed the technologies/knowhow from CSIR-NIIST.
