New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to release the SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 answer key on Thursday. Candidates who appeared for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier-1 examination will be able to access the provisional answer keys on the Commission’s official website, ssc.gov.in, under the "Answer Key" section.

As per a senior official, the answer key is expected to be published around 9 pm on Thursday.

The SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 exams were conducted over 15 days from September 12 to 26, with an additional session held on October 14 for nearly 8,000 candidates. These include aspirants who faced exam disruptions due to a fire incident at a centre in Mumbai, as well as others whose earlier attempts were flagged for suspected malpractice.

How to download SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 answer key:

  1. Go to the official website — ssc.gov.in
  2. Click on the Answer Key link available on the homepage
  3. Download the provisional answer key and response sheet

Candidates will also get access to their response sheets to review their marked answers. In case of discrepancies, candidates can raise objections online within the stipulated time by paying a non-refundable fee per question.

The Tier-1 exam was based on objective-type, multiple-choice questions, available in both English and Hindi, except for the English Comprehension section. A negative marking of 0.50 was applied for every incorrect answer.

The Tier-1 results will be calculated based on the finalised answer key, after reviewing any objections. Those who qualify will move on to the Tier-2 stage, which includes Paper 1 and Paper 2, conducted in separate shifts or days.
