
National Productivity Council (NPC) established as an autonomous organization under Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, has notified the recruitment for the post of Assistant Director through GATE-2023
Candidates must have qualified in the GATE-2023 examination from the specified disciplines to be eligible to apply for the advertised posts.
The disciplines in which Recruitment will be made and the GATE 2023 paper Code of the discipline in which applicant must be qualified ae as follows: Mechanical Engineering (GATE 2023 Code-ME); Production & Industrial Engineering (PI); Environmental Science & Engineering (ES); Electrical Engineering (EE); Computer Science & Information Technology (CS); Chemical Engineering (CH) and Civil Engineering (CE).
Essential Qualification: Applicant should hold a B.E./B. Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) awarded after a Full-time Regular course from Institutions/ Colleges/ Universities/ Deemed Universities duly recognized by AICTE/UGC. Those possessing 05 years Integrated Dual Degree in Engineering are also eligible to apply.
Applicants should have secured 60 % marks (55% for SC, ST and PwBD) in qualifying degree examination.
Upper age limit as on 31/12/2023 will be 25 years. Relaxation for OBC will be 3 years and for SC/ST, 5 years. For PwBD, age relaxation will be 10 years, over and above the relaxation admissible for their category.

Application Process: Applications can be submitted online at https://npcrecruitment.in, latest by 1700 hrs on 31.12.2023.
Only male candidates belonging to UR/EWS/OBC (NCL) categories are required to make a payment of Rs. 300/- towards application fee using Bank link provided on the website after final submission of the online application by VISA/MASTERCARD/Rupay/Prepaid debit/credit card (of any bank) or Internet Banking. SC, ST, PwBD, Female candidates are exempted from the payment of Application Fee.
Selection: Shortlisting will be based on marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE-2023 followed by Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI). Final Merit List shall be prepared by assigning the weightage of 85% for GATE-2023 marks, 5% for GD marks and 10% for PI marks.
