National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma (NARIP) Cheruturuthi, Thrissur, Kerala - 679 531, under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, has announced interview for the engagement of a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in Biochemistry on contract basis for the IMR Project entitled ‘Biochemical Effect of Trikatu Churna in Methimazole induced Experimental Hypothyroidism in Wistar Rats’.

Essential Qualification: Applicant should have MSc. In Biochemistry with two years of research experience in reputed research organizations.

Desirable: (i) Worked for research projects funded by the Ministry AYUSH, ICMR, CSIR, DST or similar organization (ii) Skills of drafting editing of scientific documents and publication in peer reviewed journals (iii) Working knowledge of computer application drug design/in silico , ayurinformatics. 

Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 42,000/- pm plus HRA as per rules

Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on date of written test/ interview. Upper age limit is relaxable in the case of SC/ST/OBC as provided for in Govt. of India orders.

The engagement would be purely on contractual basis initially for a period of 6 months which may be extended for a period of 2 years or curtailed at the discretion of the competent authority, based on the performance of the selected candidate and will be co-terminus with the project.
