Purchased from a Dubai dealership, the 670-horsepower beast boasts a 0-100 km/h time under 3 seconds and a top speed around 314 km/h.

Chennai: South Indian superstar Ajith Kumar has expanded his enviable garage with the addition of a Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 Roadster, one of the most sought-after high-performance sports cars in the world.
The actor, renowned for his passion for motorsport and luxury automobiles, recently took delivery of the mid-engine supercar from a Dubai dealership. A video shared online shows Ajith inspecting the roadster at the showroom before taking it for a spin on Dubai’s streets.
The C8 Z06 is the extreme performance version of Chevrolet’s iconic Corvette lineup. Powered by a naturally aspirated 5.5-litre LT6 V8 engine, it produces a jaw-dropping 670 horsepower and 624 Nm of torque. Paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, this setup propels the car from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds, with a top speed of about 314 km/h.
Ajith’s roadster version, with its open-top design, offers both blistering performance and an immersive driving experience. The model is priced at approximately AED 624,800 in Dubai (around ₹1.4 crore), though in India, such a machine would carry a much higher price tag due to duties and import restrictions.
The Corvette joins an impressive list of supercars and luxury machines in the actor’s stable, including a McLaren Senna, Ferrari SF90 Stradale, Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Mercedes-Benz GLS 350, and BMW 7 Series. Ajith, a professional racer in addition to his acting career, has long been known for his love of high-speed engineering marvels.
With the Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 Roadster now under his ownership, Ajith Kumar continues to underscore his status as one of India’s most committed celebrity car aficionados.
