Ather Energy has announced a price hike of up to ₹3,000 across its electric scooter range from January 1, 2026, citing rising raw material and component costs.

Ather Energy has announced a price increase across its electric scooter portfolio, with revised prices set to take effect from January 1, 2026. The Bengaluru-based electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer said prices will rise by up to ₹3,000, depending on the model.
The company attributed the hike to rising global raw material costs, foreign exchange volatility, and higher prices of key electronic components, which have increased overall production expenses.
December is the last chance to buy at current prices
For customers planning to purchase an Ather electric scooter, December may be the final opportunity to buy at existing prices. The company is currently running its ‘Electric December’ campaign, offering benefits of up to ₹20,000 in select cities.
The limited-period offers include instant discounts on credit card EMIs, cash benefits, and a complimentary eight-year extended battery warranty on select Ather models. Ather Energy has also partnered with multiple financial institutions to make electric scooter ownership more accessible during the campaign period.
Ather scooter lineup and key features
Ather’s current product lineup includes the Ather 450 series and the Rizta, its first family-oriented electric scooter. The 450 range comes equipped with advanced features such as multi-mode traction control, MagicTwist regenerative braking, and a host of connected scooter technologies.
These include Google Maps navigation, WhatsApp integration on the dashboard, and call and music controls, positioning the Ather 450 series among the most technologically advanced electric scooters in India.
Rizta crosses two lakh sales mark
The Ather Rizta recently crossed the two lakh sales milestone, playing a crucial role in expanding the brand’s footprint across the country. Earlier this year, Ather announced a significant update for the Rizta Z variant, which will now feature a touchscreen display.
Ather electric scooters are retailed through the company’s Experience Centres across India and are also available for online purchase via Amazon and Flipkart, enhancing accessibility for customers nationwide.
With demand for electric two-wheelers in India continuing to grow, Ather Energy’s price revision and year-end offers are likely to influence buying decisions ahead of 2026.
