Just hours before Apple’s much-hyped “Awe Dropping” event, an alleged factory-floor video circulating on China’s Weibo may have revealed what could be the iPhone 17 Pro Max, featuring a radical full-width camera bar across the top of the handset.
The 10-second clip shows a worker lifting a large silver device from a row of similar units. The phone’s back panel sports a prominent horizontal camera island stretching edge to edge, centred above the Apple logo. The video, reposted by leaker Ice Universe on Weibo, is described as showing a production-line unit. The display remained covered.
Apple has not commented on the video. According to Apple Insider, the clip looks “probably fake.” Mathrubhumi English has not independently verified the authenticity of the footage.
Apple’s launch event is scheduled for Tuesday at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.
