Mumbai: Yuvraj Singh recently posted heartfelt condolences on X, mourning the tragic loss of three young Afghan cricketers killed in a Pakistani airstrike in Afghanistan's Paktika province. The players—identified as Kabeer, Sibghatullah, and Haroon—had returned from a friendly match when they were targeted during a local gathering. The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) condemned the attack as a "cowardly act" and expressed deep sorrow.

In response to the incident, Afghanistan has withdrawn from an upcoming Tri-Nation T20I series involving Pakistan and Sri Lanka as a mark of respect for the victims.
