A mellifluous session and the birth of `Ka' song

The birth of 'ka' theme song happened at the session during the conversation between lyricist BK Harinarayan and musician M Jayachandran.
The interactive and melodious session flowed easily through memories of music and singing. In his candid talk with lyricist B K Harinarayan, the musician stated that music has connected musicians of all times.
"When Dakshinamurthy Swamy composed the song 'Utharaswayamvaram..' Devarajan Master, did 'Samyamakannorudyaname '. The song ' ..Innale mayangiya...' of Swamy was followed by '..ambalapparambile...' of Devarajan Master, Jayachandran remembered.
The session overflowed with singing, music discussion, and sharing of memories of musicians and lyricists of yesteryears.
Discussion on lyricists and musicians of all times took the audience to an era of pure music.
Starting from ONV Kurup, Sreekumaran Thampi, Devarajan Master, P Bhaskaran, and Gireesh Puthenchery .. the list progressed and ended with Rafeeq Ahmed and B K Harinarayan.
Jayachandran commented that he trusts the new generation of lyricists and their talent. "As long as there is creativity, art will live," he said.
The melifluous session unveiled the talent of a little boy Abhijit from the audience.
Jayachandran and Harinarayan together sang the song ' olanjalikkuruvi' .
The melodious song and talk session concluded with the creation of the theme song for the Mathrubhumi Literary Festival 'ka'.
