Dubai: UAE-based businessman Amjad Sithara has gifted new Jetour T2 luxury cars to five employees in recognition of their contribution to the growth of his company.

The gesture by the young businessman, a native of Kannur, is being seen as an example of employee recognition in the corporate world.

Amjad is the Chairman and Managing Director of Dubai-based BCC Group and BCC Properties. His practice of sharing a significant part of his business success with employees has previously drawn attention in the Gulf's business community.

Last year, when the group recorded 130 per cent growth, BCC Group rewarded its employees with higher bonuses and incentive gifts than in previous years.

The vehicle handover ceremony was organised as a surprise, with the employees receiving no prior notice about the gifts.

Speaking at the event, Amjad said the success of an organisation was not the achievement of its owner alone, but the result of the contributions of everyone who worked sincerely towards its growth.

He said the key was to grow together by recognising and supporting those who contributed to the organisation's growth.
