Kochi: The AI startup Docket, founded by Malayalis, has secured Rs 125 crore in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Mayfield and Foundation Capital, with additional participation from other investors.

Docket, established in 2023 by Arjun Pillai from Thiruvalla and Anoop Thomas Mathew from Thodupuzha, has developed an AI-driven sales engineer designed to enhance the efficiency of its human counterparts. The platform provides AI-assisted responses to account executives who have product-related queries from customers. Traditionally, companies depend on sales staff with engineering expertise to address technical questions; however, Docket’s platform significantly reduces both costs and time within the industry. The company operates in the US and Bengaluru.

This represents Arjun's third entrepreneurial venture. His first startup, Profoundis, was sold in 2016, followed by his second venture, Incent, which was sold in 2021. Anoop, who co-founded Profoundis, is also an alumnus of Chengannur Engineering College, alongside Arjun.
