Panoor Blast: Family of accused alleges unfair probe, political bias

Kannur: The family of the accused in the Panoor Bomb Blast Case will file a complaint seeking to change the officials probing the case. The complaint will be filed before the Police Commissioner and Deputy Inspector General (North Zone).

The complaint is lodged by those listed as three to seven among the accused. They include Arun (28) from Chendayad, Sabinlal (25), K Athul (28), K Sayooj (24), and Amal Babu (24) from Kunnothuparamba.

Advocate K Pradhu filed a complaint on behalf of the family, accusing the investigating officials of political bias. The family also asserted that the officials were trying to falsely implicate innocent persons in the case. By challenging the police inquiry, the family contended that they were deprived of a fair investigation.
