Kozhikode: According to a medical update issued on Tueday morning, M T Vasudevan Nair's health condition remains serious. No changes in his medical condition have been observed, according to medical professionals.

MT, who was admitted to Baby Memorial Hospital in Kozhikode on the night of December 15 due to breathing difficulties, also experienced a heart attack during his hospitalisation. However, his condition has not worsened further.

A team of specialist doctors is closely monitoring his recovery in the ICU. While his condition remains critical, there has been a slight improvement, with some movement observed in his limbs. According to his medical team, led by cardiologist Dr. Raghuram A Krishnan and critical care expert Dr. Ajith K Gopal, there has been considerable progress in his heart condition.
