Coimbatore accident: Victims' bodies to be cremated today and tomorrow

Kozhikode: The bodies of victims who died in the Coimbatore KSRTC bus accident will be cremated by today or tomorrow.

The bus coming to Kochi from Bengaluru met with the accident on Thursday early morning. Bus driver VD Gireesh and conductor VR Baiju were also killed in the accident. A lot of people including political leaders paid their respects at the funeral that was held in various parts of the state today.

The body of Jismon Shaju from Angamaly will be cremated in the cemetery of St Augustin church.  Edappally native Aishwarya’s body was brought to her place on Thursday itself. Her body was cremated after a public homage. Kochi Mayor Soumini Jain, MLA TJ Vinod paid their respects. Thrissur native Jofi Paul will be cremated at Cheeyaram church after the funeral ceremony.
