The instruction has been given with the aim of making drinking water available to the public at all places. As per the order, water kiosks will be installed in the public places and streets that fall under the operational areas of the respective societies.  Through the initiative, cold water, buttermilk, and ORS will be provided to the people.

The water kiosks shall be set up at public buildings and places voluntarily provided by kind-hearted people. The water kiosks will be maintained till the end of summer.

Approval has been given to spend a maximum of Rs 1,000 on every water kiosk each day. The money for the setting up of the water kiosks and for meeting the miscellaneous expenses shall be allocated from the public good fund of the respective co-operative institutions.
