Kerala CM Satheesan’s viral grin sends internet into overdrive | WATCH

Kerala Chief Minister VD Satheesan has once again found himself at the centre of social media chatter — this time over a question close to the hearts of the state’s automobile enthusiasts.
During the election campaign, the UDF had grabbed attention with a poster hinting that car modifications could be legalised if the alliance came to power. Now, after taking charge, Satheesan was inevitably asked at a media interaction whether that promise would actually become a reality.
The Chief Minister’s reaction, however, stole the show before his words did. With a playful smile and a slightly amused expression, Satheesan appeared to enjoy the question as much as the crowd around him. His light-hearted response instantly went viral, with many online calling it “the expression every car lover was waiting for.” A video of the funny expression has gone viral on social media with the hashtag 'pookieCM'.
But behind the humour, the Chief Minister also sounded optimistic. He indicated that the government would seriously examine the possibility of allowing modifications that meet safety and regulatory standards.
“If we have promised it, it will be done,” Satheesan said, drawing cheers from automobile enthusiasts. He added that the government was committed to delivering on assurances made during the campaign and insisted that such promises were not made merely for electoral gains.
“We are here to fulfil promises. All of us — ministers and MLAs alike — are here to serve the people and help turn their dreams into reality, especially the aspirations of the younger generation,” he said.
