Rahul Easwar seeks anticipatory bail in actor Honey Rose's complaint

Kochi: Right-wing activist Rahul Easwar has filed anticipatory bail in connection with a complaint lodged by Honey Rose. The Malayalam actor has accused Rahul Easwar of social media abuse, and her complaint has caused a stir.

Rahul Easwar has approached the High Court seeking anticipatory bail in response to the complaint filed by the actor. The bail application is expected to be considered by the court on Monday.

The police is yet to register a formal case on the matter. They have stated that they are awaiting legal advice before proceeding with the case. Once the legal opinion is received, the police will expedite the process.

Controversial remarks lead to complaint

The controversy began after Rahul Easwar made critical remarks about Honey Rose during a television discussion, particularly regarding a complaint against Bobby Chemmanur. Honey Rose filed a complaint over these remarks, which led to further public attention.

A resident from Thrissur also lodged a complaint against Easwar for his comments regarding the actress.
