Fire breaks out in Vandiperiyar in Idukki, shops destroyed

Idukki, Kerala: A fire broke out in Vandiperiyar early on Saturday morning, causing massive damage to several commercial establishments. The blaze started around 4:00 am in the heart of Vandiperiyar town, destroying a number of shops.

Fire force teams from nearby areas, including Kattappana, Peermade, and Kanjirappally, rushed to the scene to control the fire.
