Express train with unreserved coaches on Thrissur-Kannur stretch to be operational from July 4

Palakkad: Express train with unreserved coaches running on Thrissur-Kannur stretch will be operational from July 4. Commuters do not have to book ticket in advance as it has unreserved coaches. Meanwhile, though it is a Express train, it will have stops in stations where passenger trains have stops.

The Train 16609 Thrissur-Kannur Unreserved Express will start journey from Thrissur station at 6:35 AM. The timings in various stations are as follows:

Shoranur: 7:27 AM

Pattambi: 7:45 AM

Tirur: 8:34 AM

Parappanangadi: 8:52 AM

Kozhikode: 9:32 AM

Vatakara: 10:29 AM

Kannur: 12:05 PM

While train 06456 Kannur- Shoranur Unreserved Express will start journey from Kannur at 3:10 PM. The timings in various stations are as follows:

Kozhikode: 5:25 PM

Tirur: 6:24 PM

Kuttipuram: 6:44 PM

Pattambi: 7:09 PM

Shoranur: 8:10 PM

The train will leave Shoranur to Thrissur at 10:10 PM for next day’s trip to Kannur.
