Beypore Water Fest on January 4 to feature IAF air show, drone display, musical extravaganza

Beypore/Kozhikode: The fourth edition of the Beypore International Water Festival is scheduled for January 4 and 5, offering an array of thrilling attractions, including an air show by the Indian Air Force (IAF).

Helicopters from the Southern Air Command in Thiruvananthapuram will perform an exhibition starting at 3.30 pm at Beypore Marina Beach. According to District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) secretary Dr Nikhil Das, the public can enjoy the display from Thursday onwards. 

The Navy and Coast Guard will also participate in the festival, with their ships stationed at Beypore Port from 9 am to 5 pm on both days. Entry to the exhibitions will be free. On January 4, the Coast Guard will showcase a Dornier flypast at 2 pm, followed by a search and rescue demonstration at 3 pm. 

The festival will feature a captivating drone show at Beypore Beach, scheduled for 7.30 pm on both evenings. On January 4, Jyotsna Radhakrishnan will perform at Chaliyam Beach from 7 pm, while K S Harishankar and his team will host a musical event at Beypore Beach. On January 5, Vineeth Sreenivasan and his team will deliver a captivating performance.
